Tax and Corporate Updates Seminar
Bahandi Consultancy and Management Inc. (BCMI) held a Tax and Corporate Updates seminar to its valued clients last November 29, 2019. The seminar, which covered the salient features of the newly-enacted Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines and the proposed Corporate Income Tax and Incentives Rationalization Act (CITIRA) as well as recent issuances of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), was conducted by BCMI’s Consultant, Atty. Stephen L. Yu, CPA. The attendees were listening intently to the topics that were discussed, particularly the requirements for the establishment of a One-Person Corporation (OPC), and also the proposed lowering of the corporate income tax rate from 30% to 20%.
